Being the consummate nature lover
that she is, Kitty probably knows both the botanical and common name for this beautiful flower (I found it inside
Marin County Civic Center), but so far I haven't been able to coax any information out of her... Looks
like it's in the Calla Lilly family, but it sure is an oddball -- just like our little family here at Kittyland...

Yesterday I was spooking around the Marin County Civic Center and spotted these two
birds in the patio area
out by the fountain and pool, and beneath the towering golden spire that was designed by the master of architecture
himself -- Frank Lloyd Wright... And although I don't know who fabricated these ostriches, the artist
gave them a job -- full time employment, so to speak -- of beautifying and giving the area some character...
Not that the Marin County Civic Center doesn't have enough character and beauty on it's own, but these birds
definitely add something...

I'm not exactly sure which is whispier,
whispy clouds or whispy Kitty...
Kitty likes to get me up early so she can get a little bit of food and head back to bed...
She uses a variety of tecniques for rousing-me-from-the-dead... And the method I most enjoy
is a soft wet kiss on my nose -- while my least favorite method is a bite on the elbow...
This morning she gave me a whispy fop on the head with her tail, and I'm pretty sure it was no
accident... Oh cats, you never know what they're going to come up with next...

Yesterday afternoon, after all was said and done, I got a brilliant idea... Why not take a short cruise to the
top of the hill, Mount Tamalpais, and soak up the sunset...
And although the sunset proved to be slightly lack-luster, I did find this
lupine wildflower standing tall,
enjoying the afternoon, as I certainly was, too...
side note: When I get to heaven [ ? ? ? ] I'm pretty sure "the big guy" is going to admonish me
for a lifetime of the "over-and-misuse-of-commas", "three-dots-after-every-sentence", "creative-spelling" and various other grammar violations committed during my lifetime...
...but getting back to the story: You see, here's the problem -- all this time I've been thinking
that Kitty was the most beautiful thing on this earth -- but now I've fallen in love with lupine wildflowers...
I'm not sure how I'm going to keep this new-found love a secret from Kitty... I hope she will eventually
understand...

slowing down a bit... For years she would bring me presents of unfortunate mice and
birds that she would catch, bring inside, and proceed to rip apart on the
bathroom floor... These days Kitty gets all her food catered and served -- not quite
the same for this bobcat...

Dear Kitty,
Until Tica's recent Kitty Blog Fame, she had been earning her keep quite nicely here.
She offered invaluable advice on cookery, washing-up, Hoovering, laundry, shopping... even fashion. (It's all about spots, apparently.)
But, her speciality was bed-changing. I doubt I will ever again see a cat take such an enthusiastic attitude to a task, as Tica did to bed-changing.
However, Tica is living proof that fame changes everything - and rarely for the better.
Now that she's a supermodel, this little Madam has raided my stash of (very classy) tiaras and nail varnish.
These days, she's good for nothing other than purring, posing, reclining... It's a veritable burlesque fest!
Try as I might, I cannot convince her that there's only enough room for one princess around here.
Have a heart and wish me luck with my delectable delinquent...

Here is a picture of my cat, Tica.
I had long-suspected that she can fly, so I installed a hidden camera...
It is astonishing what this little hooligan gets up to, while I'm at the shops.
Most people think the worst their cats get up to in secret is walking on the dining table, singing, "We're on the table! We're on the table!"
Tica and I know otherwise.
Anyway, It's going to be a full moon here tonight... Very enticing to a naughty cat - especially when the window's "accidentally" been left ajar.
The secret camera is fired up and ready to go. Watch this space...
