Kitty and I got a rise out of a silly episode of M.A.S.H. where, with a lot of
sunshine, and a little bit of fertilizer, they were able to grow some fine ears of corn just
in time for the Fourth-of-July, expecting that corn-on-the-cob would remind them of home.
But of course, Igor the cook got it all wrong and served the corn creamed.
A surprised and distraught
Father Mulkahey wailed; "You didn't cream the corn did you?!!!",
to which Igor threw up his hands in disgust and replied; "Well if you don't like it
creamed, I'll give it to you on-the-cob next year".
